Missionary Conference 2020

Covid 19 has been doing it’s best to prevent a lot of things from happening this year and the 2020 Missionary Conference is no exception! However, our plans are always subject to God’s will and timing, and Covid 19 makes no difference to that; God is still in control of all circumstances and we praise Him for that.

As I write, plans are still being made and will be subject to the circumstances that exist at the time of the conference. What I can say is that we have Trevor Morrow from One Mission Society (OMS) coming to visit with us on the morning of Sunday 11 th October at 11.30am. On the Sunday evening at 6.30pm we are planning to have a pre-recorded presentation by Aviel Sela of Christian Witness to Israel (CWI). Aviel has also pre-recorded a
presentation entitled the Gospel in the Passover, which will be shown as part of the conference.

On the Wednesday the 14 th Paul and Lesley McKnight will visit us during the evening meeting at 8.00pm. The McKnight’s are serving with New Tribes Missions (NTM) in Papua New Guinea and are home for a period. You may remember them from a visit to us a number of years ago, so it will be good to renew fellowship with them.

I hope to have our own LBC missionaries taking part in some form, which has to be worked out yet as to the best way to do that. So, please pray for the conference, that God would be glorified in everything and that we would be encouraged by hearing of the works of our great God. Please make the effort to support the conference in this prayerful way and also in practical support of the visiting societies and our own LBC missionaries.

Please Pray that God would be glorified in everything and that we would be encouraged by hearing of the works of our great God.
